TYPE
Rosso Asiago -
PLACE
Asiago
Description
The two quarries are located in the Kaberlaba area of the same name and are part of the first property purchased and exploited by the Pilati family in the early 1950s. The main quarry extends for a few hectares and for the most part has already been cultivated, reclaimed and covered, leaving the meadow used for grazing to cover the slopes, as rightly provided by the current regulations on the remediation and exploitation of the quarries. From these two quarries the best banks of real Rosso Asiago marble are extracted, which is appreciated both for its uniform and lively color and for its high resistance to atmospheric agents and low temperatures.
